Piano tuner finally came this morning to tune my piano. I love my piano ALOT now! HAHA~ After tuning, it seems really different, in terms of the sound quality, the 'feel' of playing etc... Its cool! Love it lots. (:

According to the latest survery (mentioned ny one of my friends), piano tuner is considered the best job all over the world. Let me explain why...

1) As a piano tuner, you are doing what you like, which is MUSIC. Thus, this job allows you to fulfill your interest and dream.

2) Piano tuner's working hours are really flexible. They plan and work as and when they like.

3) For a very normal tuning (cheapest?), it costs about $55 per piano. Imagine this- If you a piano tuner and you have an average of 4 pianos to tune a day (each piano only require at about 45 minutes or less to tune- longest 1 hour?), you can earn about $220 each day. Take it as you only work 20 days a month instead of the whole 28 days, you will earn $4400!

This amount does not take into consideration of tuning a more expensive piano (a tuning can costs up to $150?). In other words, piano tuner can earn even more than $4400 a month!

Isn't this a excellent job?- Well... Unfortunately, not everyone can be a piano tuner. As piano tuner uses their ears and tuning fork to tune piano, I presume their ears must be really sharp. Piano tuning and servicing is a very complicated process that takes a lot of training and skill to do it right.
