Fallen ill

Tuesday, April 08, 2008

I had fallen ill with cold for the past few few days. It was terrible to be sick. Just think about this- having muscle aching all over, high fever of 39 degree celsius, coughing like mad, sore throat, headache and runny nose like a flowing tap. Can you guys imagine the torture I had been through for the past two days? Horrendous man. Just last night, my temperature surged up to 39 degree celsius. I was worried if the temperature kept going up, it might cause damage to my brain. Oh well, actually that's a bit exaggerating la. My mum decided to turn on the air-conditioner and allowing me to sleep in her room (only her room has an air-conditioner :( ) last night eventhough she isn't used to sleeping in air-conditioned room. That means her sleep last night was compromised in one way or the other. =X I felt guilty for that man. BAH

I'm thankful for what my mummy have done when I was ill- the herbal drink which she boiled, the porridge which she cooked, the cakes which she bought and the endless check on my temperature by touching on my forehead.

Due to my high fever, I was given two days of medical leave by the doctor to rest at home. Tomorrow, I'm going back to work. Another brand new day to look forward to. :) Alright. I'm feeling sleeply already. Take care all. I'll blog again in no time. =)
