Started school term...

Happy Birthday to Ashahari!!( May 28)
Happy Birthday to Zhu Jun, buddy!! ( May 29)

The new school term has started. Time flies, I am already in year 2. I have seen all our lecturers for these term. In immunology, we have to kill mice! Oh my goodness, I have no idea whether or not I'll freak out for my next Immuno Practical. I must tell myself, I must not freak out. It's just a small little mouse. Haha... By the way, we are looking at our own blood under the microscope next week. =X Oh, we have a roster for taking care of the mice.

I had breakfast with Rae, three days ago. Oh, she gave me some sweets that she baked too. The sweets are nice. Yeah. You know, those sweets are in orange flavour. I like the jelly type the most. I went to kino after the breakfast. I have to thanks Rae alot, as she lend me all her maths notes in JC. =)

I guess I'll have to stop here. Cya!

Bloated,

I'm moving house soon...

Monday, May 23, 2005

I went out to KBox with Jun and Chris just now. We took the K Lunch package. You guys will be thinking, "going to KBOX AGAIN?". Yup =D I guess this is my 7th time going to KBox this month. Well, I guess this would be my last time going to K before my school term starts. Yup. I don't think I will go KBox that often during school terms either.

I'm moving! I'm moving house. Should I be happy about the idea? You know, moving to a new house. I should be happy. Yeah!! The very fact is I am terribly upset by the idea. Imagine, I have been staying in Bukit Panjang for like 16 years, and suddenly they want to move house. To make things worst, we are moving to redhill or tiong bahru. Moving from west to south-west. =X I hate it. See! Firstly, travelling time from tiong bahru to my school is further than from bukit panjang to school. Secondly, I have to due with the stress like coping with new environment and stuff. Thirdly, I feel that the transportation aren't convenient there. Well, I don't know! *Sigh*

We are moving because my aunt is moving. Why is my aunt moving? Well, she don't want to let her son to mix with his bad company. I am being forced to move now. I have no say in this issue. As my mum wants to stay nearer to my aunt, we have to move with her. =X

[I think I'll have already sorted out what I have to do after I wrote this entry. After hearing to what my friends said. Yeah. I shouldn't be self-centered and I guess I should treat this as one of the challenges. Maybe, it isn't a challenge at all. Perhaps, I will get used to the new environment and will like it alot. =D Anyway, if I move to a new house, I will have a new well renovated room. Isn't that good?]

Sorted,
Don

Tired day...

Sunday, May 22, 2005

It's a tired day, today. I had been spending my whole day cleaning up my room. Sometimes, I really hate cleaning up my room because it will takes many hours to do it. Besides getting dinner at near-by coffee shop, I didn't get out of my house. Well, not going out isn't bad at all. At least I can have a good rest. Hehe... After I cleaned up and tidied my room, I went to have a nap.

School Vacation is ending in just 2 days. I think once my school starts, I will not be able to blog that often. I'll try to blog at least once a week. Hehe...

To all my friends:

Those who are in Junior College.

Your School Vacation is starting soon. Enjoy your vacation, yeah? Have a good rest. If common test is after the Vacation, Happy Mugging~. All the best =D

Those who are in polytechnic

School term is starting soon. Let's work hard together. Never give up, yeah? We can meet up after school or during weekend. Hehe~

Joyful,
Don

extravagant again...

Friday, May 20, 2005

I'm tired now and thus, will try to make this entry short and sweet. =) Today is yet another fun and enjoyable day. I went out with Jun to town again. Well, I bought three t-shirts. Two from Samuel and Kelvin and one from Bossini. I like all three t-shirts alot. Yeah. Yesterday, I wanted to mention that I bought a pair of shoes but I forgot about it. Yup I bought a pair of shoes from Bata. At first, I thought was pretty nice. "Haiz..." After I saw the shoes which was selling at Samuel and Kelvin (S & K), I changed my perception. The shoes I bought isn't as nice as that shoes at S & K. I am kind of regretting buying the shoes from Bata. Sigh.

We went to Jack's place to have our lunch again. Student set Lunch. I had Pepper Fish Pasta for my main course instead. The ambience at Jack's Place is better than yesterday. Haha... A whole lot better. The manager was more friendly. The dessert and the soup taste great too. I love the dessert alot.

Oh, Jun went back to town to buy her favourite slippers which she saw it yesterday. To be frank, the slippers look nice to me too. Well, I guess Jun has really good tastes. Haha... I need to thank her for commenting and giving suggestions on shirts that suit me. Otherwise, I would not have gotten the three T-shirts which I like it alot.

After we finished shopping, we went to Raffle City and we stopped by at Starbucks Coffee to have a cup of Caramel Frappuccino and my favourite, Chocolate
Eclair. =) chocolate Eclair is delicious and mouth watering. =) Anyway, I learned a slang word today. Haha... We saw one Orange-T shirt at S & K. It looks 'Fugly'. Haha...

Fugly stands for Fucking Ugly. =X When Jun was telling me, I was like laughing my head off. Fugly... Haha... Fucking ugly. Pardon me, I am not scold F*** on purpose. =D. As a whole, I enjoyed alot today. Hehe...

I tried to use Adobe Photoshop. Wow, I didn't know it can do such a good job. I uploaded a picture and I am amazed by the picture.

Extravagent...

I am getting more extravagant. =X See! I think I have to learn to be less spendrift. Seriously, I spent quite a bit during this school vacation. Just take today's example. I had my lunch at Jack's place, watched a movie (Title: AmityVille Horror) and ate my dinner at Macdonald's. However, I must admit that it's really an enjoyable day today. Yup. =D I had been to many "area" in town today. [ It's provided that we actually considered esplanade situated in town. ]

I have to thank Zhu Jun for accompanying me to school to submit the scholarship application forms this afternoon. After submitting the forms, we head to the town. As usual, took 74 then 154 to town. Coincidentally, Jun met her Polymates on bus 154. Frankly, I'm rather amazed by how much her friend can talk. I'm not trying to say she is talkative but seriously, after we alighted from the bus, I realised she didn't even stop talking since she boarded the bus and saw my friend. Really! Not even a minute. See how amazing it was? Haha... Oh, once we alighted, we went straight to Lido, Shaw House to buy two AmityVille Horror's movie tickets. It was shown at 5.30pm. After we bought it, we window shopped for a while before heading to Jack's place to have our lunch. ctually, I did plan to visit sis at her workplace since she was working. Unforturnately, she was having her lunch break. No choice, we had to head to Jack's place restaurant for our lunch since both of our stomach was groaning.

Our lunch was fantastic! Really! It was worth it. I spent$7.50 for a student set lunch which includes a main course, a today's dessert, sprite/ coke for my drink, a soup of the day and one slice of garlic bread. I ordered " Chicken Cutlet" as my main course. I uploaded a few photographs of our food, perhaps, you guys can take a look. I'm not trying exaggerate but in my opinion, it's really worth to the max. Imagine the student set lunch at Jack's place costs about the same as a fast food set. I like Jack's place ambience too. Although, there are a few aunties who were at the table behide us, talking at the top of their voice. =X. Jack's place waiter and waitress's service were great too. =D

After our lunch, we window shopped again as there were still a few hours before the movie started. Jun saw a slipper which she likes it very much. I guess she really likes it alot as she kept talking about "how nice the slipper is" when we were walking. The movie which we watched wasn't bad at all. In fact, I will rate it for 8 stars out of 10. It was a pretty nice movie.

We had our dinner at Mac's before going to Esplanade. Haha... We spent our time talking there. I think both of us can talk anything under the sun. Haha... The night at Esplanade is windy too.
We took quite a few photographs. Haha... I guess I have to stop here. Pretty tired though. Cya! =D

By the way, did I mention I bought an electrical toothbrush? Yup. It's pretty useful in removing plaque too. My teeth is now cleaner. =D I sent my handphone for repair and I received a call from Nokia's technician that they need more time to repair it. Blahz Blahz Blahz ...

A rainy day

Wednesday, May 18, 2005

It's a rainy day today!! The weather now is the most suitable for sleeping, such a cooling weather. =X I went to see a doctor just now. Haha... I didn't fall sick, hehe.. Not to worry. I went there for a regular check up like blood test, urine test etc... Well, my mother is alway paranoid over my health. Haha... It's her idea for me to go for a check up.

I listened to the replay version of music diary (9.33Fm) just now. The story is kind of sweet. Haha... Let me translate it into English and forgive me if it isn't well translated.

Music diary 933 音乐日记
( P.s 'I' in the story refers to the writer and it doen't refers to me =D)

The story goes...

有你在我生命中陪我走完这一身是幸福的。

Everyone has their own romantic love story and so do I. Haha... I am writing in to share my story with all the radio listener and to tell my lao po (Wife) that I love her. =D The incident which marks the start of our so called 'real' friendship is still vividly appearing in my mind. I didn't know her well until that incident. In fact, before the incident, I spoke less than five sentences with her a day eventhough we are classmates. Wasn't that pathetic? At that very occasion which was on one of the nights, I received a call from her. I was really surprised at that instance. Perhaps, she was feeling stressed out and she needed someone to talk to since it was getting closer to our exam period, I thought. At first, I uttered for words but it became fine after talking to her for a few sentences.

Talking to her at night became part of my daily routine soon. Our friendship grew. We are closer to each other. This is when we became god brother and sister. Without myself realising, I am falling in love with her. I remembered during the mid of lesson, I will alway try to steal glances at her. I will miss her alot if she didn't come to school on a particular day. At that time, I was in a dilemma. I asked this question to myself umpteens times. "Should I tell her or Should I not tell her I like her ?" Seriously, I hated that moment. I felt horribly tortured by this question.

Never did I expect that the worst thing was coming. During one of the calls, she told me she likes someone. The someone whom she was refering was B guy, my best friend. I was really shocked and felt that I lost all my hopes. "Did I hear it correctly", I asked myself. Finally, I got back to reality and realised I didn't hear it wrongly. She likes my best friend. At that moment, my stomach churning hard and I could feel unbearable pain in my heart. The next part was hard for me too. I was struggling for a solution. Finally, I came to a decision. I decided to backout from this love cycle. Some may thinks it was stupid but I wanted her to be happy. Morover, I even matchmade them. No kidding. I guess this is the last thing some people would do.

Yes. I managed to get them together as an item. I suceeded. Should I be happy about the success? Well, I guess my sorrow was more. She became more cheerful and happier since both got together. She smiled more often in class. Remembering that before, she would be sitting at a corner of the class and she rarely smiles, I told myself I did the right thing . Seriously, at that moment, my feelings are complicated. Real complicated, I can say. I felt dejected as both of them got together, and at the same time, I felt contented as she is happier now. Everytime when I saw her smiling, my heart melts.

Not long later, I got a news that both of them broke off. I heard that my best friend was a two timer when he was dating her out. I felt infuriated. She no longer smile often and it was as though she returned to her old self. She looked badly hurt too, I noticed. I felt helpless as I was unable to help her in one way or the other. Moreover, I was feeling equally miserable seeing her in such a condition. Our friendship slowly degraded. She no longer say "Hi" to me in school. When both of us passed each other in school, she didn't bother to look at me. She treated me as though I am a stranger. I can't blame her too. I think I should be responsible for what she was feeling. Firstly, is my best friend who did such a cruel thing to her. Secondly, I am the one who matchmade them. Besides all these unhappiness, I am glad that we still talk on phone every night. This is our only way of communication.

Two months after they broke off. I took initiative to talk to her in school. At first, it was just a "Hi" or "How are you". Later on, we talked more. It was like as though we were knowing each other right from strangers. We build up our friendship again. I remembered I alway give her the letter which I wrote everyday. Slowly, bits by bits, Our friendship is once again building up. We are getting closer. Finally, last year, my dream came true. That very moment, I kneed down with a ring and asked her to be my girlfriend. She agreed. Frankly, I am really happy. Nothing is comparable to this type of happiness, even striking a ToTo. Now, I am with my lao po (wife) for one and a half year. No doubts that we have been through thick and thin together. We come so far and I would like tell her that she is a great grilfriend. Knowing her is being fortunate and having her with me, walking through my life is blessing. I love her.

Touched,
Don

K Session!!

Monday, May 16, 2005

I had a K session just now again. However, this time was with Su, Ash and Zak. we sang from 2pm - 7pm at Lot 1 KBOX. =D Seriously, this K session was enjoyable. I really had a good time with them today. Oh, I applied for the KBox Card too. Well, I applied for the sake of getting cheaper price today. Haha... =X Student member rate is cheaper than normal rate. I guess it's way cheaper. As it's weekend today, it costed $13 for student members.

You know? After I finished singing, which was around 7pm, my stomach was groaning. However, it's weekend and all the seats in fast food restaurants were occupied . As for the case of restaurant, there was a long queue of people. As I was really hungry, haha... ( Some of my friends will comment for sure that I never seem to be 'full' when I am out with them. ) I suggested not to wait at LOT 1, instead, we should eat at elsewhere. In the end, we ate our dinner at Sakura restaurant again. =X Haha...

To be exact, I have 8 more days to the end of my school vacation.

Happy Birthday to Ben !!!

I wasn't happy with blogspot at all yesterday! They had a maintanance last night and I totally have no idea about it. As a results, I lost the whole entry I wrote last night since I didn't post the entry when they close the website temporary for maintanance . Sheeezz.. This is so Pathetic. Well, owing to them, I have to retype the entry again. Really have to "thanks" them. =X

I went to school yesterday with Ben and his friend for the CCA fiesta. =D Guess whaT!? I finally signed up for Piano Ensemble. =D Yeah!! Haha... Now I am an Library Ambassador and I am in piano club. I have been waiting to join for a long time and alway didn't get the chance until yesterday. Seriously, I am really happy about joining this club and hope this club would not disappoint me at all. =P Ben joined it too! Haha... However, since he is graded, I think he will not be attending the practices on the same day as me. If I am not wrong, graded students attend their practices on every thursday and non-graded students attend on every monday. I had my first piano lesson at Ben's house yesterday too. Coolz !! coolz!! Haha... I Ben taught me how to play piano. A big thank you to him. By the way, his condo is coolz too with nice environment. Oh, I bought my maths and stat 2 lecture notes too.

I went to Wei Jie to National Library (woodland civic centre) just now. He offers to teach me maths. Thanks to him. =) I had my lunch with him at pasta mania. It costed me $10 plus. =X Oh ya..

I have something to share with everyone. =)

Movie day

Wednesday, May 11, 2005

Why do people alway not treasure their close ones when they are around and will only regret when they aren't around anymore? WHY?!?! =X *I am listening to the graduation - Vitamin C*

Can anyone tell me why?

Why do humans alway take their close ones for granted and will only regret and hoping to treasure them when they are not around anymore? ( I am merely rephrasing the first sentence again into the second sentence, please pardon me for what I have done. =X )

*Haiz...* I am just wondering now. Sometimes, I really miss the days together 'as a whole'. *Haiz* *Haiz*

Well, I had a great time just now with sis (Edna), Angeline and Kian Meng. We went to catch a movie, 'House of wax' at Lido. Three words which I can describe this movie. 1) Horrifying 2) Disgusting 3) Shocking I will rate this movie for four stars out of five. It is a nice and worth watching movie. =) By the way, thanks sis (Edna) for helping me to buy the Nike Baller ID Bands. Like it alot actually. =)

The Nike ID Bands *Coolz!!!*

Oh ya, I had the Professional Developement in Education-Basic Student Panel this morning. I think I mentioned before. It's an exchange programme betweeen new lecturers and invited students. The aim of this programme is to facilitate new lecturers to know more about our school students, school learning culture and stuff. *Hmmmz* In the session, we actually had 2 parts. One part was when we were divided in pairs such that every 2 invited students out of 6 sat with 4 lecturers per table. Then, lecturers will start bombarded us with questions like, for instances, Why do you chose this course?, What are your future plans ?, What do you like about Ngee Ann? and stuff. The second part was all the six invited students including me will sit infront of the class and all the lecturers will ask questions targeting to all students. As a whole, this programme is quite an eye opening one and it actually allows me to gain more experience in term of public speaking and train me to be more confident. Well, it is a nice experience I had been through. No regrets going there =D. My goals for my next semesters are getting desired grades, learning to be more confident but not complacent and learning to be more all rounded . I believe being confidence is extremely important, no matter whether it applys to school presentation, studies or even my future career. =P

One good new which I hope to share with my friends and that is I passed my Basic Driving Theory Exam! What a relive. =) Really Glad I passed and my hard work pays off.

By the way, when I reached home, I saw the bread from the 'Breadtalk'. My mum bought the Otah Bread I love from Breadtalk.!~ Hmmz. I really love my mummy. =) Alway cares about me so much, although we might have conflicts sometimes.

I guess I have to stop here. I really had a good time today, Really! Besides what happened earlier. Yeah! I had a good time with my friends. =) Cheersz!!

Miss-ly

Taken today ("Haizz... See my pic... I isn't photogenic at all" =X)

I just came back from BP Plaza after having my lunch with Kian Meng and Chris. Here I am now, blogging, sitting and staring at the computer infront of me. Well, I alway feel it's never easy to write up what had happened during the day, which includes emotions that you had been through. This is especially true for my case as you will notice my command of English isn't strong at all. Thus, please pardon me if I make some grammatical errors or some spelling mistakes. This blog is meant for me to record what had happened in my life and at the same time, I hope to improve by English too. "Blehz, Blehz, Blehz" Why am I talking so much of crap in today's entry? Haha... Anyway, I really appreciate if anyone can let me know when I make spelling and grammatical errors in my entry. =D

Our school vacation is ending soon. *Let me count* "Hmmmz..." We will have about 2 weeks, which equivalent to 14 days = 336hours = 20160 mins = 1209600 sec. Haha... You must be thinking I am crazy. =X Haha.... Well, I know its *lame*. =D Did I meantion that we can't take IS modules for my sub level 2.1? Yup. We can't take it. By the way, IS stands for Interdisciplinary Studies. To be frank, I am terribly disappointed when I received the news which told us we can't take IS for sub level 2.1. =X Now, I am in a dilemma. Whether a not to appeal for taking IS this semester. "Arrgghh... " " Sheeezzzz" Why are there so many decisions to make in life? =X Actually, I wish to take IS modules as I think they are really useful in developing and imparting life skills. On the other hand, I am afraid that I might not be able to cope with additional two IS modules which I want to appeal. Then, it in turns will affect my grades. =S You see...! I am in such a dilemma. "Sheeezz" What should I do? =X

This afternoon, I was talking on phone with Su, Haha... Planning a gathering on the 15th of May. Yeah! In the end, we came to a decision. We are going to KBOX! Haha... I'm really looking forward for this K session with Su, Zak & Ash. =D By the way, I received a call from Ngee Ann's Library regarding to the Library Ambassador thingy. The people in charge was asking whether I want to be qualified for NYAA award or being paid. *Choose either one*. Guess which choice I chose? =P You should know?!?! Haha... Anyway, I am ecstatic when I heard about it. =P

Yesterday was boring. Stayed at home. I was reading a novel. "Haizz...' I have not finish reading that book. Well, I got to stop here. I will be back! Haha...

Delighted,
Don

Nothing much =X

Saturday, May 07, 2005

I had my basic driving theory test just now in the afternoon. I heard that we can only make five mistakes in the test. In total, there are 50 MCQ questions. Hence, the passing mark is 45/50 which is high. =X I made a silly mistake in this test again! I felt silly and dumb after the test. Guess what? I changed the answer of one of the question which is actually the right answer to the wrong one. I am silly, isnt it? I really felt like slapping myself after the test. It's not the first time I did that. Why haven't I learned my lesson? It's really 'wasted' as though you are throwing away marks. Well, like what my friend told. What's done cannot be undone and I should let bygone be bygone. =X I shall stop whining. Haha...

Nothing special happened. Today was pretty much occupied by the test, itself. I had my lunch at 'sukura' family restaurant with zak. Well, it may sounds like the food there is expensive. Actually, it's not as expensive as we imagined. The cheapest main course there costs $3.95 and we don't have to pay for their service. =D In other words, no service charge!Zak and I ordered the cheapest main course, which is roasted chicken noodle. Oh, we had a crystal prawns dumplind dim sum too. I think it doesn't taste as nice as the one I had it at the dim sum restaurant with my grandmother.

Just now, I watched the last episode of 'Fate Twisters' (Heng Ye Chai Hong) which I miss it on television the other day. It's nice ! hehe.. very touching Do you guys believe of the possibility of having a rainbow during the night? Night rainbow. I believe it is possible to have a night rainbow. Hehe... I don't know why I think so. =X

Yesterday, I went to Kbox with a few of my secondary school friends. Hehe... We sang from 2pm to around 7.30 pm. It was fun singing with them. I must admit that Zhu Jun and lei Siang can sing very well. =D Their dual is good too.

Relaxed,

Dim sum's day

Monday, May 02, 2005

I went to eat dim sum this morning!! Hehe... Dim Sum tastes delicious. Yeah!! At first, we didn't really order much dim sum. Oh, By the way, we actually have to order the dim sums, our ourself and my grandmother isn't sitting at the same table as where I am sitting . I am sitting at the table where most of my cousins are seated. We have 2 tables. My granmother will come over to our table often and 'spot check' Haha! Then, my grand mother said something which I find it funny. " you guys better order huh, don't stare at the space, don't eat table" Haha! She kept calling us to order more, order more. Haha... How caring.... hehe... =)

Anyway, after eating dim sum with my family. I went to shop for mother's day gifts for my mother, grandmother and all my aunties (mothers). I bought boxes of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers (for my mummy). Haha... Now, that bouquet is in the fridge. haha... Don't be too shock I place it in the fridge Haha... I saw the florist's lady put them in fridge too. Haha... I think the flowers will be fresher. =)Aftr that, I had my lunch with kian meng and chris at Coffee Bean, Paragon. I ate one of the set lunch which is nice. =) Haiz.. what an extravagant day!! Haha...

Photographs taken by me... I know its 'lame' Haha

What are my plans tomorrow? Hehe... My family is holding a mother's day celebration for the mothers. =) We will be having dinner together tomorrow. Oh ya. By the way, we dragged forward the celebration from actual day of mother's day to tomorrow as my uncle is going oversea soon.
