First day of attachment

Oh well, first day of attachment today wasn't that bad. I had almost a full day of orientation talks. Today started out with a short briefing about the institution (IMCB). This followed by a safety briefing at about 3pm. The briefing was long and draggy. Oh well, I guess this safety talk is important as it informs us about all the safety regulations in the institution. Alright. The food at biopolis was okay, I guess =P. Anyway, I did some work such as pouring agar plates and inoculating bacteria into the culture today. The lab I'm working in is dealing with SARS virus. No kidding! Hahah.. Oh well, its essentially SARS viral protein actually. =X haha... not the virus itself. Thus, I guess its not virulent. =D

So far, I think the people there leave me with nice impression. I hope this is some sort like mutual. Well, well. We (By the way, I'm working with Rus in this attachment programme.) will be doing a DNA mini preps tomorrow. Isn't that cool? On our second day of work, we are doing a mini preps. Its a nice institution which has an aim of training and educating students. =D One of their aims is to help us to perfect our techniques. This is really nice of them. =) Really appreciate it. I guess I'll stop here. Update you guys soon. See ya =D . OH OH. I would like ot THANKs all my friends who wished me luck and all the best for my attachment today. These message really made my day. Tomorrow is the first day of my attachment. I'm wondering how it would be like working in that institute. We'll see tomorrow. Hope it turns out fine.

Today is a great day! Yeah. My day started out with swimming with Chris and Kian Meng at my aunt's condo . The swim was okay, I guess. Well, after the swim, went to Jurong Point to meet lyn. Haha... Finally, we can catch up. I guess it's been a while since we last met. We shopped and chatted for about 1 and 1/2 hr before getting into the theatre to watch "the devil wears prada." Both of us agreed that the movie's plot is kind of common. Nonetheless, it's nice. =D

OH. Thanks lyn! She bought bueno and hello panda for me. Really nice of her. I'll love it. I'm a chocs freak, remember? I really enjoyed myself today. =D

Lol. Anyway, I saw a pet shop when I was on the bus on my way. Wonder what kind of nice pet stuffs do they sell. Hmmm.. hahaa.. Oh oh, I just remember. Did I tell you guys that I helped marcus to cut his nails yesterday? It was a tedious job, I tell you all. I need kian meng to help me hold him and I cut it. Wow. It was my first time cutting nails for pet. Not quite enjoyable though. Okay. Shall just stop here. I'll blog again tomorrow. =D

Today is a shopping day for me. =D Well, started off with buying of my labcoat. =X Okay. I lost my labcoat. SIGH. How many things have I lost this month. Let me count.
1) Swimming shorts and towel
2) Labcoat
3) Swimming goggle
This is really sucky! What's freaking wrong with me???? SIGH. Anyway, I headed to town to meet wai kit after buying another labcoat as replacement. Got my swimming goggle at Edna's work place. Totally love the 40% discount which I got from the shop. Well, then I went to IMM (Daiso) with kian meng. Freak la. You know what? Yesterday I got one brush for grooming Marcus for $6 at my favourite pet shop. I saw the same brush at daiso for just $2. I nearly fainted, okay. =X. Since daiso stuffs are pretty cheap, $2 each, I got some toys for Marcus. I'm going to swim tomorrow again. Yes! I'm going to bed soon. I guess I'll stop here.

*Bells ringing* It's Blogging time!

Yesterday was talking about how freaking horrendous those jerks and sluts are. Haha.. Well, I came out with this conclusion after seeing so many of my friends suffer in misery after their break up with their ex-bf or gf. These ex gf and bf got a new bf/gf within like 2 weeks? I find that amazing. Is this call true love? Or they are simply treating love as a game. I alway get very worked up when my friends told me about the story of those jerks and sluts. These people can come out with a non-sensical reason for a break up like "I'm in a bad mood because I lost my stuff and I want a break up." I mean if they are giving some excuses, can they just come out with a more sensical excuse? SIGH.

Anyway, I am just hoping those friends of mine will get over it soon and live their life without having to be upset over it.

Tomorrow, I'll be going out with zak and su. We will be catching 2 movies and having lunch at sakae. Well, I'm really looking forward to it but I guess I'll really need to skip one of the movies. I am broke. Yesterday, I went to town with sis, sheryl, kim, wei shun, cheryl and rus after my exam. We ate dinner at crystal jade and totally love the food there.. Ordered the xiao long bao and some mian thingy. The xiao long bao were simply delicious. After our sumptuous dinner, we went to catch a movie, break away.

I shall stop here.

I hate starhub customer service officer. Encountered one super duper rude woman on phone. My freaking SIM card was locked and require some pin code, so I had to call starhub. And there she said "sorry I can only give the pin to the person who register this line". I was saying "but my mother is not around now." The rude woman said "This pin is confidential" Whatever la! I'm the son of the person who register this freaking line, can't she just give the pin to me. Thanks to her. I can't receive any calls and sms in school.

I have to lie to another starhub officer saying "my mother is not in singapore now" and I got so pissed off and said "do you need me to send you my mum's IC to prove that I'm her son?" Sheeeeeeeez They are horrible people. They successfully spoilt my day. Oh, kindly remind me to change my service provider when,my contract ends. I think its time to change another provider who will provide better service.

A scientist has tested the "world's first anti-stupidity pill", with encouraging preliminary results on mice and fruit flies, according to Germany's Bild newspaper.
Mr Hans-Hilger Ropers, of Berlin's Max-Planck-Institute for Molecular Genetics, has tested a pill that helps improve attentiveness, Reuters reported.
"With mice and fruit flies we were able to eliminate the loss of short-term memory," said Mr Ropers, 62.

Alright. I shall start blogging. I was supposed to revise today for my upcoming exam. Well, in the end, I ended up going swimming and changing my blog skin. =X Sigh. Oh, I guess this drug is so suitable for forgetful people like me. Then, I wouldn't leave my laptops and books behide. Hahaa.. I'm pretty sure Wei Shun is so going to agree with me. I guess he must have helped me to take my belonging, especially laptops, which I have left in lecture theatre, laboratory etc.. for umpteen times. SIGH. Guess what? I lost my towel and swimming short after swimming. I must have left it somewhere. So hopeless case. =X My mother was saying that day One fine day I might just lost myself. I love swimming alot now! Love swimming frog style. I mentioned earlier about swimming today. Yeah. I went swimming with Chris and Kian Meng. Then, we went to long john to have dinner and headed to my house. We watched the movie, the click at my house. I guess it's quite a nice movie. Yeah. Alright. I must get some rest now. Take care all. Friends! Must catch up after my exam, okay? =D

Ok. Blogging time.

Anywaz, I'm going to tidy up my freaky messiest room later. My kns room. Reminded me of ben's room lah. Super duper clean lor. The cleanest guy's room I ever see on earth. I so wanna have a room like his. Well, my mum will love it! Haha... Guess what? My mum suddenly ask me about whether I have a girl I like in school. I was like "why suddenly u ask huh." Weird, I tell u. Freak me out man.

Did I blog about going ice skating last fri? Suck lah. The worst ice skating outing I ever had. That day was my first time attending NP ice skating club outing. I repeat, the outing was sucky, can? First, the seniors never even interact with the new members. They just skate and "show off" their skating skills lah. Well, the interaction part is the worst part of that freaky club. The president of that club is okay. I mean alright only hor. Not to the extend of good and welcoming. She left the new members without even saying goodbye, ok! She just left with her friends. Ok. One word. SUCKS.

My poor baby marcus. Have to stay in his private room for the whole day. My mum lah! She said she will not allow him to come out when she is around in the house. So sad right? Never mind. She will accept him one day. How can she not accept such a loving creature. BTW, I so miss taking pictures with my friends. Friends! Come out and go walk walk lei. I mean after my exam lah. Miss you guys so much loh. So looking forward for my attachment at Institute of Molecular & Cell Biology (IMCB) this coming holiday. Can go have lunch at holland road with friends and can go nus to drink my favourite avocado milk shake.

Sian lah. I need more songs. You know KJ's blog song. super nice. I love that song. Sometimes huh, I just wonder what will my life be without music. Darm terrible, I tell u. OH. I need my chocolate. Some kind people, please buy me some chocolate. Haha... I will love you all one. Ok. This is no link lah. But I just feel like saying. You know huh. Our school charge us a fine of $15 for paying our school fees late. Shit one lo. Pay $15 for nothing. KNS. I kana before once. Haha... Know why I started complaining about this? Cos huh. KM lah. Suddenly tell me reconnect broadband if u kana terminated cos u didnt pay bill, cost $30. Siao one. They alway wan to charge extra money for nothing. u know poor people like us huh, can spend alot with this 30 bucks. WOW. I realised I bitch so much today.

Anywaz, I am considering of wearing braces. KH says I am getting more vain these days. I think so too. But nvm la. Who say guys cannot be a little bit vain. All my friends say I smile so fake when I am taking photo. I need braces to remove that ugly rabbit teeth. Ugly like shit lo. Sad lah. But I don't whether my mummy will pay for me a not. Okay. Sleeping time. Errr... Nono. Tidying up my room time. Byeeeeeeeeez
