Hey peeps! Been really caught up with stuff these days and thus, couldn't update this blog for a long time. I guess it has certainly been a while since I last blogged. I just got a year older yesteday. Now, I'm 21 and it makes me feel so old. My Birthday this year was spent in camp. Pathetic, isn't it? Thank goodness, I have my 21st Birthday celebration last unday (23 dec). =D

Before I bring the details of my 21st Birthday party to you guys, I would like to first thank the following people:

A BIG THANK YOU TO

- My Mum
(*For sponsering my party, preparation of party & entertaining guests)

- My Aunt (For preparation of Birthday Agar)
- Jian Meng & Chris (For the decoration of the party & entertaining guests)
- My family for attending my party and for their gifts
- My friends for attending my party and for their gifts
- My sweetie for her sweet 21 presents =D

Oh. In case, I forgot, I would like to thank those friends who sent birthday wishes (SMS) on my actual Birthday too. For friends who couldn't make it for Birthday Party, it's ok- No worries. =D

I'm really touched by the presence of my family and friends in the party. Thank you!! My 21st Birthday is the most memorable Birthday I ever had so far. I certainly had a whole lot of fun that day.

Buddy love to ask this question: Ni kai xin ma?

My answer: Wo heng kai xin! Xie Xie! =)

Alright. I shall go into the details now. =)

The Birthday celebration was intended to commence after 12.30pm on 23 Dec. Guess what? I only started putting up those decoration a slightly more than an hour before the commencing of the party. That was so last minute, isn't it? Luckily, I managed to put up those decoration on time with the help of my family and my two friends, Jian Meng and Chris.

Here was how the decoration looked like...

Not fantastic but it was decent enough. That was what was necessary afterall. =)

Guests started arriving at about 12.45pm. By then, my food caterer has arrived with all the food which I have ordered ( But, I forgot to take the pictures of the food =X) In total, there were 9 courses which includes dessert course. I hope my guests liked the food. Subsequently, there were more guests arriving. By then, I was busy entertaining guests. =) Almost every 10 minutes, my family called for me from the hall to welcome my guests. Haha.. Busy yet fun =) My Birthday cake was cut at about 2.45pm after my friends sang me the birthday song. I swear I was extremely embarrased infront of so many guests. I hope I didn't turn red at that moment. I felt touched to have most of my friends with me at my 21st birthday celebration.

Here are the pictures... ^^V

Christmas outing...

Monday, December 24, 2007

Hey guys! ! Sorry for posting this entry late. =X As usual, the usual gang (Su, Zak and I) had a Christmas outing this year just like the previous years. The outing was a really fun one. Eventhough, we sort of did the same old thing over and over again, we never seem to get bored over it. "Old things" like going out for a feast and Photo-taking have became part of the" must-do" list when we are out together.

It's been a while since we last met as everyone was so caught up with their own work. I really appreciate their efforts in keeping in contact by having this Christmas outing. =D That day, we settled our dinner at Pizza Hut, exchanged christmas gifts, and Cam-whoring. Hope our friendship will last till we are really old. Heee =) Take care! Amigos para siempre!

Christmas presents!!

Another book out on friday. :)

I was too tired to go out on friday and decided to stay at home to rest. =D
Dong Dong is sick. Awww. >.< Hope she will recover soon. ^^ Yesterday, Catch up with Harry in the evening. It's been ages since we last met up man. I was free from planning activities yesterday since Harry offers to plan. "you shall just be the king for today and I will do all the planning" Wahhaa King? Sounds Cool ^^v. You guys should know how much I hated to plan for outing. Anyway, the whole outing went quite well. Shopped around and went to catch this lousy movie, 30days of night which worth like 2.5 stars out of 5 in my opinion. I thought the movie plot was way to common, so cliche. =X The only reason I gave a pass is because of those "shocking scene" in the movie. Oh, dinner was at some "cook-fry" chinese restaurant at Far-East plaza. A good recommendation from Harry, delicious indeed. :D

Oh, caught two movies with dong dong last sunday. Stardust and enchanted. Enchanted is so nice! 4.5 stars out of 5 stars Nice. Nice! So sweet man.

Alright. Thats all for now. Going shopping with dong dong later. =D

A mask in life

Tiredness is what I'm feeling at this point of time. Having wondered the reasons for it, the only conclusion I could think of is mentally tired of the events that are happening in my life. Initially I was reluctant to blog as I realised I do not have much stuff to blog about. On second thought, I think it would be nice to write an entry to dump all my feelings in. Hence, here I am.

Looking at the mirror, he saw the unfamiliar sight of himself. Was it what others called it the "inner you" ?, he wondered. He studied his features at the mirror and caught a sight of the exhaustion in him. The exhaustion which has hardly be reaveled to others. He long for a rest. A rest from all these meaningless happenings.

He shut his eyes, thought of giving himself a break. Unintentionally, he allowed his emotions to take over him. The very last thing he wanted it to happen after controlling it for long. Then again, he wondered why did he control it in the first place? No answer. Images of his life journey were going through in his mind like a slide show of pictures. First was the bliss moments. Next in line came the dejected moments. He struggled. Trying to open his eyes. After much of a struggle, he managed to open them. Tears started flowing down his cheek. He felt good. It was true, he thought. True about letting your emotions go through yourself, feel it and detach yourself from these emotions.

He wiped off his tears and took another look at the mirror. He finally saw this familiar him. Unknowingly, he was smiling. The smile which has faded from his face ages ago. He instantly notice a mask and realised the reason now.

P.S: It's not wrong to wear a mask in life but always remember to take it off when there is no need for it. =D
