I guess it's been a while since I blog proper. Seriously, I hate to admit that these days I have totally ran out of stuffs to blog. I'm alway blogging the things which I have done on the day and I find this rather boring. =X Actually, I just came back home not long ago. I had been at Macdonald's for the whole of this morning and early afternoon. Can you believe it? It's amazing that I can actually finish my novel there. Initally, I was intending to have my breakfast at Mac and be back home to finish up my novel at around noontime.
Oh well, I didn't know it can be enjoyable reading a novel at Mac, and I stayed on until I finished the whole book. This leads me to realise that it can be really nice to be alone at times. I used to tell my friends how much I hate having to be alone at times like having a meal, watching a movie or going to a mall. I guess after today I'll have a different perception about doing these things alone. It can be fun too. Really! =D Sometimes, I just think that I'm not as independent as how I ought to be, especially from the fact that I'm the only child in the family. "Only child is usually more independent". [ I hope this is not consider as a Bias statement, To Kim Heng- I have no way to justify this statement. =P]
By the way, I must say that Mac's Big Breakfast is as delicious as before. [Although, it's just a very common breakfast] Maybe, I just longed to eat Mac's Big Breakfast too much. =P Yummy!! [ This is how charlotte, my ajc senior replied when I asked her "how was her lunch?", I find this reply really cute as it reminds me of some young kids replying to their mummy or daddy) =D I think the novels by Nicholas Sparks need some prasing here. Hahaha... To be frank, I don't like romance story in the past. I hate it alot as I think they are boring. =X However, after reading Nicholas's work, I changed my perceptions toward to it. Well, Nicholas's works are not entirely romance story, I would say. In fact, his books are alway a mixture of everything especially titles like "The Rescue" and "The guardian." His books are worth reading it.
Most students at Mac are preparing for their O levels at this period of time. I guess this is because O levels are just around the corner. This reminds me of that year which I was preparing for my O levels too. It seems like many years ago. [The fact is it is only 2 years ago] I was wondering where did the time goes to. It seems like it just flies as quickly as it could to disappear in front of our eyes. Well, I would say that year is a extremely tough year especially to Normal (Academic) students like us. At least, I'm glad that year is over.
Now, I'm already in my year 2 in Ngee Ann poly. Time flies. It's not very long before I get into NS. Not really looking for it though. I mean NS (National Service). Speaking about NS, these days I'm trying to play more sports so that I can at least get a silver award for my NAPFA. This allows me to skip my 4 weeks of x'tra training in army. =X I must prove to FONG WAI KIT that I can get a silver! Haha... Yesterday, I went to school to play badminton with Klavier people and Kim Heng. It was fun. WOW, today's entry is lengthy. I'm not even done yet.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention about the recital that was held last thursday, 20 oct 2005. The piano recital has ended! It was really great! All my seniors and the teachers performed very well. =D This recital is our club's first recital and it was at esplanade. Guess what? I almost lost my way in esplanade backstage. Their backstage is like a maze. Serious! I'm not kidding. Anyway, their waiting rooms are like a hotel rooms without the beds.
I was not performing in the recital but was there ushering and entertaining the principal. He is more friendly than I expected. A very nice man. =D That day was filled with excitement and anxiousness. I was a little nervous about urshering the principal. I kept telling myself that it was nothing scary and I can do it. I was so afraid that my nervousness will actually get over me. Usually, I'll screwed up event when I am too nervous. Thus, I kept controlling it. Nervousness, I meant. At least, the whole esplanade concert is a success! I'm really proud of my klavierensemble. =D Our club is the only club in Ngee Ann so far that has had our concert at Esplanade. Isn't that cool? I think it is!
Anyway, from the point I started blogging. I have less than a week before school term starts. I heard our coming semester is going to be a really tough one. What my friends told me. Have faith in myself. =P My new term resolution would be similar to last sem's except some additionals.
New sem
- Hope to be more confident on what I'm doing
- Try my very best in my studies and have acceptable partcipations in CCA
- Play more sports to prepare myself for NAPFA
- Handle projects better than last sem.
Hope I can.
The sem is tough but I must be tougher than it! =D
You guys will never expect what I'm going to do after I've finished blogging. I'm going to plant some flowers in the pot. Surprising? I must admit I don't really like plant science but planting some flowers doesn't requires much plant science's knowledge anyway. =P Oh, I have to do some revision on my music theory too. I'm not hoping to have additional stress from music when my sem is already going to really stress. In that case, I don't think I will enjoy music as much as I should. Tomorrow, I'm going to get my timetable for the sem done too. It's not as though I'll really follow it but at least it gives me general guidelines on how I can manage my time. =D
Hmm... I think I have to stop here. Otherwise, this entry will be really long.
Delighted,
Don
