The ANTs joke.-SO LAME . HAHA

Wednesday, August 27, 2008

HAHA.

I just met up with Debra, Wilson and Mick for a dinner this evening. It was meant to celebrate Mick's 21st Birthday. There was this "lame" joke about ANTS. HAHA Here it goes...

As we were trying to distract Mick, so to give him a surprise present which we have long prepared, debra came out with this distraction. "There are ANTs moving past!" It was like freaking random and funny man. =X

Then after that she went like "Alright, how many ANTs do I have to give you?" (Basically, she meant how much money does she have to give me) I was laughing like crazy. =S

Anyway, nice catching up and a Happy Belated 21st Birthday to Mick and hope he will like the present which we have bought for him.

Cheers!

Aspiration / Goal

Saturday, August 23, 2008

Do you have any aspiration or goal in your life? I'm a person who believes that life will be meaningless without an aspiration or a goal. Having an aspiration keeps us motivated even during the rough times of life. In order to work towards our goals, we have to make sacrifices, plan ahead and persevere on. This is true, isn't it? It is definitely not easy to achieve our goal. Thus, perseverance is utmost important in oneself.

Realising that the more goals we have in life, more planning and sacrifices have to be done and made. Moreover, we have to prioritise our goals too. For instance, categorise the goals into short-term goals (Yearly) and long-term goals. In this way, goals will be prioritised.

One major problem which arises in planning ahead is more worries and stress when things don't turn out as expected. We tend to expect more when we planned more. In addition, with more expectation, more disappointment could be resulted when things just don't turn out as desired. I asked myself this question for several times, should I just do what should be done as life goes or should I be planning ahead? I think most probably, a more decent solution to this problem would be to settle with more realistic goals. Give yourself a decent amount of expectation. Not too high or too low. :)

At times, I will be questioning myself about the kind of person I am. The conclusion is I am a kind of person whom need to prepare and plan ahead. With that, I have a serious flaw. I am not good at taking impromptu events ( last min stuff). This kind of impromptu events usually causes me to be stressed up and might under perform.

When your goal in life is attained, you get a superb sense of satisfaction. This is the kind of feeling I love most. Take an example: A sportman has been training really hard for olympic for the past 10 years of her life and probably, just hoping that a gold medal is within her reach. Can you imagine the sense of satisfaction which she will get upon getting a gold medal in olympic?

This somehow relates me to the recent news about Lee Jia wei (our national table tennis player) who teared after she lost her bronze medal woman singles match, ended up in the fourth placing. Seriously, I think Lee Jia wei deserves a pat on her shoulder. She had done our singapore proud even though she didn't win any medal. We could see her determination to win and to bring glory to our nation. Sometimes, it is not only the results (although, I must admit results are important in this practical society too) that matters but rather the journey to the result. I strongly believe that she had already tried her very best in the olympic. The very fact that in a sport match, it is cruel in term of winning. Only one person could win the match. Similarly, one have to lose. I felt a bit sad when Lee Jia Wei declared that this olympic might be her last one. She is a player with potential. Oh well.

Anyway, I am still proud of our national table tennis team which won us a silver in olympic after so many years without winning a single medal in this event.

Alright. That's all for this entry. Take care all. =)
I am looking forward to my korea trip!
AND I have to get all my winter stuff such as winter coat, wool sweater, long john, muffles, gloves and beanie soon.

Do your best today for the good of tomorrow :)

Ultimate worrying king

Wednesday, August 13, 2008

Am I not one of them? Recently, I realised I am a total worrying king. I am quite sure that my friends will agree to it with their two hands raised.

At times, I ask myself for the reasons of worrying for stuff. Sadly, I couldn't come out with an answer. Perhaps, that is just my character. Simply, half of the time, I will be worrying about something. Commonly, my worries will resulted to myself becoming moody and all. That sounded quite dumb though.

Worrying about:

what people think of me.
losing my friends
losing my love ones
my mother's health
my studies
wasting time
uable to meet the expectation
not having enough money

To make matter worst, I am worrying about taking oversea leaves for my south korea trip these days. Come on. Isn't I supposed to look forward to the oversea trip? Sometimes, I am just so sick and tired of worrying. Can't I just be like some people who never seem to be worrying about something? That is one of the reasons why I hate growing up. As we grow older, more troubles, more worries seem to be flooding our lives, our brain. Look at those young children, they do not seem to be stressed up by anything. No worries, no concern. I miss those days of my life, those days when I am so free of worries and troubles.

Don't worry, be happy.

It is easier to say than done. If you can do it, please tell me your secrets to it.

When a person sees every flaw in you, that's when the relationship is coming to an end soon.

Perhaps, I need to grow out of this.
I am sick and tired of it.
What is there to hold on to?
Perhaps, I deserve all these.
Am I just trying too hard?
Maybe it was my fault all along.
Never appreciate it when it was around
Too late for anything now.
When it's over, it's over.

WHY?

Sunday, August 10, 2008

Why? Tell me why? Tell me please. :(

Why Lyrics
Artist(Band):Avril Lavigne

Why, do you always do this to me
Why, couldn't you just see it through me
How come, you act like this
Like you just don't care at all
Do you expect me to believe
I was the only one to fall

I can feel I can feel you near me
Even though you're far away
I can feel I can feel you baby
Why

It's not supposed to feel this way
I need you I need you
More and more each day
It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you I need you
Tell me

Are you and me still together
Tell me
Do you think we could last forever
Tell me
Why

Hey
Listen to what we're not saying
Let's play
A different game then what we're playin'
Try
To look at me and really see my heart
Do you expect me to believe, I'm gonna let us fall apart

I can feel I can feel you near me
Even when you're far away
I can feel I can feel you baby
Why

It's not supposed to feel this way
I need you I need you
More and more each day
It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you I need you
Tell me

Are you and me still together
Tell me
You think we could last forever
Tell me
Why

so go and think about
whatever you need to think about
Go on dream about
Whatever you need to dream about
Then come back to me
When you know just how you feel, you feel

I can feel I can feel you near me
Even though you're far away
I can feel I can feel you baby
Why

It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you
More and more each day
It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you I need you
Tell me

It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you
More and more each day
It's not supposed to hurt this way
I need you I need you I need you
Tell me

Are you and me still together
Tell me
You think we could last forever
Tell me
Why

Emo Day 2

Friday, August 08, 2008

For your information, Emo stands for Emotional.

I was hoping that today will be a better day for me. Apparently, it was not. Today is just yet another rough day for me.

"people who matter don't care, people who care don't matter"

This phrase is an unique one which has two meanings to it, depending on which one the
writer meant.

1st meaning:

People who are significant to you won't mind your flaws. While people who mind your flaws are those who are not significant to you.

2nd meaning:

People who are significant to you don't care about you at all. While, people who care about you aren't people who are significant to you.

I shall let you all decide what I actually meant with this phrase.

Frankly, I was utterly disappointed with a close friend of mine (almost 9 years of friendship). One single incident could show so much about this friendship.
It all started with the need of a friend who can move a desk, which was given my mum's friend, with me. It was because I could hardly carry it myself. The friend of my mum is staying at the same block as us.

1st part of conversation

I: Hey, when are you free to help me move the desk?
KM: u siao ah
KM: why ask me?
KM: Cannot ask others?
KM: What the lo
I: Oh ok. Nvm

2nd part of conversation:

KM: i dun wan argure lo
KM: i wed night free
I: don't need ur help liao, thanks

Seriously, I thought I could get a helping hand from this close friend of mine. Oh well. Honestly, I regretted asking this friend. If it wasn't because that I desperately need someone's help to move it and moreover, my mum suggested that I should ask this close friend, I would not have asked him.

Oh well.
That's what friends are for?

At the same time, I really appreciate this other friend of mine. Thank you.

[D][O][N]-says:
hey

[D][O][N]- says:
actually I got this absurd request.. most likely u wont agree

[D][O][N]- says:

[D][O][N]- says:

WK says:
wah

WK says:
your house

WK says:
very far leh

[D][O][N]- says:
ahhaa.. nvm.. its ok then..thanks

WK says:
next friday can or not

AT THIS VERY POINT OF TIME, I WAS SERIOUSLY TOUCHED. ALRIGHT. THIS SOUNDS GAY-ISH BUT YEAH, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

[D][O][N]- says:
u free ma? u got sch leh

WK says:

WK says:

[D][O][N]- says:

Thank you! just tell me when ua re free alright

[D][O][N]- says:

Sad, dejected and upset.
How the hell should I react to it?
What have I done?
What should I do now?

I have been convincing myself that there will be friend who can last for a lifetime. Now, I am starting to doubt it. Rather, perhaps, I'm just a lousy friend who didn't appreciate them in the very first place. When a friendship changes, it is difficult to undo the changes. How I wish there is an "undo" button in life which I can undo undesired changes in life.

I hate this helpless feeling. =X

I am so tired of everything.
Tried to tell myself I am fine but realised I am not fine at all. I'm feeling terribly upset.

I need more time.

Sunday, August 03, 2008

"I need more time!" Isn't this phrase cliche? Oh well. Seriously, I really wish I have more time, especially more weekends, more off and more leaves. HAHA. I sounded so lazy by saying all those words. Time always seems to pass quicker when we are having fun. Geeeez. Oh, I decided to give myself 1 week of break from piano playing after my left finger joints started aching. I hope it won't cause any permanent damage to my fingers.
Honestly, it feels really weird to be unable to play piano after work as that is when I usually play my piano. Hopefully, I can start playing it tomorrow.

I'm hoping to spend some time on my science subjects too. For instance, biology and chemistry. Recently, I just started reading up my chemistry. HAHA. I'm not crazy or something if you think I am. I just like to make full use of my time, that's all. Sitting around, stoning is so unlike me. I prefer doing something I like or useful when I'm free. :)

I am going South Korea with my relatives this December! Yay! I'm really excited about it. I guess I will be going there for about 8 days, from Dec 11 to Dec 18. =) I think it will cost me a bomb. Seriously, I have to start saving up.

NO MORE...
watching movies
eating at restaurants
eating snacks like chocs

AND before I forgot. I started watchign this Japanese Drama, Nodame Cantabile. It's about music, piano, orchestra and love. A very nice drama, I would say. Check it out, guys. =)

YAWNS!

Alright, Alright. I'm feeling so exhausted now. It must be owing to the duty yesterday. Anyway, I will blog again soon. Er. I hope. HAHA. Good night all. Sweet dream
